Why is it ok to be "quiet" about Britney?

When Ke$ha had that horrible situation with Dr Luke, mountains were moved to helped her as much as they could, Taylor even paid for her lawyers, Gaga went deep too.

When Taylor had the problem with her ex manager, waves were made across the atoms of the universe....

Both Gaga, Taylor and other A list celebrities have been very spoken about the Me Too, Times Up and other issues that women in the industry have faced. So why the silence about Britney? We see very few (and honest) celebrities worrying about her and sure, the media its been catching up but nothing compared to the awards speeches, performances, instagram posts ive seen in the past in support of other females that have faced similar situations.

Britney cant even hired her own lawyers and some A listers that COULD really make a difference by making a full instagram post are not even lifting a finger and Britney cant even talk about it.

Am i missing something?  Were are the female empowering icons like Beyonce, Nicki and Ariana? This is a big issue and so far only Gen Z cares because her millenial fans only cared about her explotation for decades

Well, Britney need to reach out for help.

She is not even doing "a damage control", she's just blatantly ignoring complete situation which put us in a very tough spot where we don't know what to think thus we are unable to decide which action to make and which route to take.

we shouldn’t be quiet about it but what we need to keep in mind is that talking about it directly on her social media platforms isn’t a smart idea as her conservators can see all this, especially her dad.

what we need to be doing is protesting anywhere BUT on her pages, not only will it not do anything to remove this already strong conservatorship, but we don’t know if britney could potentially be in trouble from all the noise created on her account.

we also need to remember that nothing in this is fully confirmed, and we don’t know the serious extent of what britney is possibly going through, she’s showing zero emotion about it which makes it confusing. with kesha’s case it was very visible that she was upset about what she went through (crying in court, being vocal on her socials because she wasn’t under a conservatorship unlike britney). i think if britney ever spoke up about it personally, then other celebrities will of course speak on it.

I don’t think other celebs are being silent any more than they just don’t know...

everyone mentioned came after Britney or like Beyoncé were too busy on the rise at the same time to have known or paid enough attention to something so legally sealed and private.

From what I heard Britney’s phone use is pretty monitored so I don’t think she’s texting pop girls about her struggles like Ke$ha or friends with Katy like Ke$ha was.

Its wiser to not talk about something you really don’t know a lot about. We only know what we’ve been told so I can’t imagine them knowing much more that’s of substance that they can do to help

please enlighten me to death

Because no one knows what’s really going on. In Kesha’s case she was very vocal about it. Britney can’t talk but at the same time only people who are close to her knows for sure what’s happening. Why would Gaga get involved in something she doesn’t even know much about?

That sounds like a lot of excuses to me, Cher have spoken, Miley and several minor celebs like Demi.

The waters are really muddy. There is obviously some bad stuff going on, but until Britney explains the situation and requests help, there is no opportunity for celebrities to chime in / jump in. Unfortunately.

I will just say this, when this case gains more atenttion then we will see all these A list suddenly speaking about it, because they would think its cool or woke to get involved and it will give them extra "femenist" points, but we will remeber who was really there for Britney since the beggining.

Reject False Icons

No it's not okay to stay quiet, but those successful cases sadly were only because the women helping them were their friends, sadly Britney doesn't have many friends because of that same conservatorship. Celebrities want to avoid getting dragged in any scandals because it's bad for their image.

Plus Britney's team must have a lot of contacts around Hollywood and nobody wants to be blacklisted, but all those risks shouldn't even matter to famous people. How did they spoke about Harvey Weinstein? I think it's the same case, they all were afraid of speaking out until not anymore

And Miley said

"It's a treat others the way you wanted to be treated kind of thing. I definitely don't know her personally enough to know any of the details. I scream a lot of things at my show. I also think Britney, like anyone else, should have the freedom to live the life that's most authentic to her."

:huntyga: so ya she doesn’t know

Media isn't  thirsty for britney gossip as they were in the 2000's so the interest isn't there

thats where celebs should interven, to make give this movement fuel and make it trend to mars and back, but hey, they only move their poser asses when its cool for their branding, image.

TMZ has exclusivity on the situation and they are paid by her father, so this is why you're not hearing about it in other media, they just can't.

Britney can't scream for help in her Instagram, she can face hell from her father and her team.

They only way to expose it is us, it's to share it everywhere, it's to force each and every celeb to speak about it, like we usually do when something bad is happening.

BUT, there is the case that they might be in a risk of getting sued by her father.

So sploosh your juice all over me you Riverboy

She's not legally allowed to speak about it, she's not ignoring it! Her only way to communicate with us has been to send cryptic messages on Instagram

OT : I also find the silence of other celebrities so sad, Cher is the only person that talked about it.
