The transition is huge on tiktok, but most people don’t even know it’s Gaga’s. I’m sure they’ll add the transition to the MV, but i hope they’ll make a radio edit with a short clip of CII as well. OMonster 14,664 Posted September 8, 2020 Share Posted September 8, 2020 911 isn't going to smash, and it is a very odd single choice, but, to be honest, a music video for this song will be really exciting, and I quite like that Gaga is releasing an unconventional song for a single again. SL and ROM were very safe, whilst this is very different and unusual and 'Gaga' - I like that she, and Interscope, are still happy to recognise her space in the market as a 'non-conforming' pop artist. And who knows... 911 could surprise us, and end up becoming a bit of a viral hit. The lyrics, once people know them, are very relatable, and speak to this generation particularly. We can also assume that Interscope have analysts that look at streaming data, and have chosen 911 for a reason. It's obviously not only the most streamed non-single, but must also show promising results on replays, and US-centricity. So, let's wait and see. I just hope she doesn't release it on 9/11, because that really would be a mess. I want the music not the bling, and the era (being robbed of airport fashion and hotel pics) is DESPERATELY in need of visuals, particularly edgy ones.
