It's the science of stars, actual entities in the real world. I don't want to come across as the crazy-hippie-70s-weird-crystal-aunt, but to dismiss completely it's (astrology) effect on people, their signs and all is not the way to do it personally.

The thing is the science of the stars is astronomy, not astrology. It's nowhere near science. Do you have a good explanation for stars influencing someone's personality?

Fact. I should probably change my sentence -> Astronomy is the actual science of stars, while I like to believe astrology as their language if that makes sense. Even then, it's more the planets than the actual stars.

I do not, but interesting scientific studies do (they are listed below, I'm reading them right now) ... and listen, I totally get it. I'm not trying to make you agree with me. Personally, astrology helped me a whole lot in my life for various reasons, but I totally respect if you prefer to not feed your energy and yourself towards that.

Ugh, her mind. It amazes me. It reminds me of how I used to choose my university based on feng shui.

Please ignore the spelling in username. I am a Beyonce stan afterall.

" Serious astrologers are agreed that the sun-sign provides important information about human behaviour, although most would be quick to point out that it is not the only factor since it tries to fit everyone into only 12 groups. "Sun-sign" astrology uses only one element of the horoscope, the sign occupied by the Sun at a person's birth. This is the type widely publicized in newspapers because it is simple and nontechnical. It is also easy to refute. We should note, however, that the scientific tests carried out in the last decade address not only sun-sign astrology, but also so-called serious (natal) astrology. As stated above, the results of these tests are all negative. " :nooo:

Hell, what can I say.

I won't be an hypocrite and I will own up to what I said and the mistakes I made. I do still believe strongly in astrology, but I indeed lack, at the moment, any scientific proof. Therefore, I can't really argue with you guys that don't believe in it and that think she's being a dumbass.

Alright, I'll give them a read. I think the reason a lot of people feel so strongly against Astrology is because we feel we really don't need yet another thing that divides us and labels us. It also enables implicit discrimination. Imagine an employer using the excuse "I don't want to hire Virgos" and getting away with it when in fact he just doesn't want a black woman in office.

Zodiacs are fun but they shouldn't be taken too seriously. This

If I have a team of water signs, it’s going to be too emotional, too volatile. Or if I have too many earth signs, it will be too grounded.

alone sounds cringey and dumb af. :saladga:

Imagine having the skills and all the qualities needed for the job only to be rejected over a zodiac sign.

If she was truly smart, she would hire Capricorns only

If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating.

No, it could be too grounded:derpga:
I wanted a very nice, diverse, astrological place. If I have a team of water signs, it’s going to be too emotional, too volatile. Or if I have too many earth signs, it will be too grounded. If I have too many fire signs, it will be too volatile, everyone will be competing.”

What else could I expect from a website filled with ignorant white people. Astrology in huge in Asian cultures and we even plan major life events around the movement of stars and planets. Maybe educate yourself before being judgemental.

If Capricorns are so smart then why they work for someone else and not become billionaire themself :derpga:?
