As much as I admire stuntmen and stuntwomen who risk their lives in the name of art, I don't want society to encourage people risking their lives because it could potentially get them an award. Stunts should be done safely, and I can already imagine some filmmakers trying to outdo other filmmakers by going crazier and crazier because the bar will be set higher and higher for stunts to be considered awardworthy.
