Those who have no idea how to be vegan in the right way, they can lack irons, omega, vitamins and then be malnourished, it's an actual thing. Vegans who do it properly are healthy and doing well You’d think she would have learned in 5 years or however have passed since she came out as “vegan”

Decodekid 27,872
I’m a vegetarian trying to go vegan, there can always be an alternative source of nutrients for whatever’s needed and that doesn’t always have to be pills or medications, you can be vegan and unhealthy just as you can eat meat and be unhealthy Long Live Gretchen

Our ancestors used to climb trees to collect food. Our physiology is closer to herbivores and fruit eating animals. Our behaviour is another topic. My point is that our ways should change considering the damage we do to animals that are slaughtered by millions every day and the damage we do to this planet. Nobody's going to stone you to death. Homegirl has access to nutritionists, personal chefs, etc..if she can't make veganism work when regular people can. OMG my point exactly. Anytime a multimillionaire abandons veganism because it was too hard, or they became "malnourished" I roll my eyes.

Someone who is vegan doesn't mean that he is healthy. A balanced diet focuses on fruits, legumes and whole foods. You can be vegan and eat chips , bread , oreos and icecream . Then of course you will be malnourished. Also veganism is a lifestyle not just a diet.
Chromatican 4,046
OT but I'm so tired of omnivores who eat fast food everyday and binge drink calling veganism unhealthy.
Franch Toast 26,306
I see the veganism threads are going as well as the race threads. But for real, just because veganism doesn't work for Miley doesn't mean people need to bash it. It still works for a lot of people. And I'm saying this as someone who isn't a vegan or even vegetarian (though more and more I am leaning toward vegetarian). Let's accept that different people have different dietary needs and preferences as well as their own set of ethics and issues that they prioritize. Franz Ferdinand 2,359
We don't know how her body works, though. Everyone's biology is different, it's possible she did track her nutrients and supplemented correctly, and it still didn't agree with her body? I agree that her saying she was "malnutritioned" makes it sound like all vegan diets are unhealthy, though, and that is a problem because they can be done correctly. Everything is fine, I eat plenty of omega-3 sourced foods, take vitamins B-12 so I don't lack anything. A vegan diet doesn't lead to cognitive malfunctions, malnutrition does. I guess she was missing sea-food. Exactly. Being vegan is not the problem, she just wasn't getting the proper nutrition. I'm sorry but when done properly, veganism is way healthier than eating meat or other animal products. I mean, consider this: we're the only species that drinks milk from another species. That's just not natural.
