I don't like how it's a "damned if you do, damned if you don't" scenario. Artists that stay silent get chastised, and artists that don't do seemingly "enough" are, too, chastised. At this point, everybody knows the movement and why it exists, and now it's up to everyone to be proactive.

The tweet Tyler posted is straight up mocking the BLM movement and his fanbase, hence why he is (rightfully) getting backlash. He hasn’t said anything about BLM at ALL, despite said fanbase asking him to use his platform to spread awareness for months. To make a joke about such a serious issue is disrespectful to those who have suffered directly from such. It’s ignorant and quite embarrassing.
