I don’t think what they heard was wrong but how they took it. When I heard her affectations, I took them as Gaga being camp and knowingly playing it up and being hammy. It was supposed to have humor to it and be Glamorous with a capital G and dripping in theatrics. Tbh I was surprised BTW was #1.
