I don't even want BoomKack back, but even K-Pop choreographer can come up with less exhausting moves yet still iconic. In this video they're just big moves without depicting her lyrics whatsoever.

 

But again, it's just my opinion but really I have to let it out because maybe I'm wrong.

 

Edit : But I had to admit that his ROM choreo is nice and kinda iconic.

i'm really never gonna get used to his choreography. it's great and all, and works really well in a studio setting, but for a pop singer? not at all. gaga's known for having catchy, high intensity, easily replicated choreographies with incredibly iconic moves. think of bad romance and poker face, they have repeated moves on the chorus that really liven up the song, but here, every single move is something different and the choreography is endlessly complicated. there's no repetition, simplicity or iconic-ness to his choreographies. they're technically amazing but creatively lacking.

They’re too frantic and they lack the sophistication. I feel like his choreographies work well when it’s all dance but not for a pop show. He can’t do the visual/tableau/architectural part well which is needed to create spectacles.

Also sometimes he can be too outdated with those liftings he insists. It screams low budget.

I wish it could easily be imitated but Richy has this problem and why he will never be like Boomkack...sorry to say 

Gaga is a pop star with fibro and had a broken hip

Her showing her swollen and bruised knees needing to take ice baths show the choreo is waaay too complex and he should focus on interesting yet simple dance moves Gaga can do while singing and also something fans and the public can dance along to

Her dancing in the Applause video is the last time she went all out on his choreo and it actually looked amazing. But that was over 6 years ago. So much has happened since and she is 34 years old with fibro. Not only does the choreo need serious updating but it needs to be tailored more for HER! I know this is something I have said a lot but she really needs to consider working with new people. She doesn't have to get rid of her friends but damn give yourself a fresh perspective with new blood! It would do a lot more for her personal creativity then continuing with the same old sh!t.

Someone on here mentioned this during the SL era, but he's just not a good choreographer for Gaga. She's not a dancer first. She does really well with distinct, memorable movements. His choreography is complicated and often makes it seem like she can't dance at all which is demonstrably untrue.

The choreo is cool, but I agree.
We're at the point where his choreo could easily inflate her chronic pain, and the moves also makes it quite hard for her to sing/breathe (which is what I saw at the VMAs).
