Franch Toast 26,289
The masks were perfect and have made her the talk of the town. She perfectly integrated them into her Chromatica aesthetic. Considering she’s worn face coverings before as part of her costumes, these felt very “Gaga.” Plus, by being the only one to wear a mask (other than Ari and her band and dancers), it’s drawn a lot of (good) attention to her. She puts her money where her mouth is. Even with her team quarantining before the performance and having COVID tests, someone could still have it and not know. The masks are a win-win in my book because they offered her extra protection just in case, set a much-needed example, and have become conversational pieces. I don’t know if they obscured her vocals at all, but if they did, it’s still worth it to me. She/Her/Hers

Just do one or the other Gags To show she was live....imagine she had no mic She would be accused of pulling a Britney Spears or having a prerecorded vocal take Stream my new single, 💜"Heartbeat"💜, on Spotify! Massive Monster 4,988
NO The masks are literally making the era/performances fashionably iconic I'm not saying that the pandemic is great but you have to agree that the masks really stood out in a good way as a performance prop Kind regards
rasclautmangos 2,746
I didn't like the mask, I thought it was too big for her face and distracting. I also selfishly wanted to see her face/mouth as she sang. I fully understand why she did it though. She's leading by example. Can't preach about masks and not wear one yourself. That was more important. Performance was great regardless.
anonanon 932
No, I was glad to see them wearing one. Even if other artists weren't doing it, it doesn't mean there was no need or it served no purpose. Maybe there were slight disadvantages, but the advantages far outweighed them. I kind of even liked that Ariana just wore a random plain one, although it was kind of amusing that it looked so out place next to Gaga's and the dancers'. Guest
Nope, Gaga has a lot of young and impressionable fans to set an example for. Props to her and Ariana for doing it while sounding flawless.
Ziggy 11,323
Absolutely not. I think it fits the era so well plus she's finding ways to make creative decisions out of the situational restrictions. I find that v admirable.

Gagz 2,579
No. She said it herself that wearing a mask is a sign of respect. She was on stage with Ari, dancers, and the band, so I think it set a good example. I love that she wore it. She also made it fit the theme of Chromatica perfectly so that it elevated the performance in my opinion.
