U about to get dragged gurl. U on SJW-Daily :selena:

On Sara's IG page it reads preferred pronouns "she/they," so @Regina George is fine.

It doesn’t matter how many times you repeat that sentence, it’s not the correct use of the word xenophobic unless they hate her for her nationality/ethnicity.

It would be much easier to just edit the word to transphobic :’)

No- the word means fear of anything different than you :) not just origins

also non-binary doesn’t necessarily = trans

Well frankly I don't care about their ignorant/uneducated try hard asses... If they opened her Instagram profile once they'd see that she herself wrote she identifies as She/They..

Nor do I. I just had to bring it up. I couldn't resist. It's like the most annoying thing about this website so I just had to jab it in :teehee:

I'm not a hater of social justice. I'm a hater of social Justice Warrior culture. The ppl that are always extra about everything and have to turn everything trivial thing into a situation

Same goes for cancel culture. It's not celebs being called out on problematic behavior or being held accountable that's the issue. It's the extremes the cancel culture likes to go to to nit pick at every tiny trivial thing now

Society loves extremes it seems. And I can't stand it because in my opinion extremes just stir up more division and helps no one. Just because you have a just cause or idea doesn't mean it's impossible to take it to unhealthy extremes or to just become annoying about it and that's what SJW social media culture promots these days and I don't approve at all of that nonsense cuz frankly I think it just makes the ppl that need to change and shrug off problems take them even less seriously cuz they just see progressives as a joke

If it's someone just wanting to promote fairness and equality as in advocating for social justice without the toxic aspect of SJW culture, those are not the people I have an issue with. In fact I applaud them because they do what needs to be done for society to progress.

Why did i read it as Selena Gomez

also I better not see any xenophobic phobic comments here

edit: Xenophobia, or fear of strangers, is a broad term that may be applied to any fear of someone who is different from us.

i tend to see people here on GGD have phobia towards gender non binary and trans communities in general

I think you mean transphobic, xenophobia means mostly fear of people foreign to your nation

Refresh my memory, would non-binary mean referring to them as they, or are they fine with he and she and whatever else?

I'm sorry I triggered such a long answer. I agree, it just seemed gratuitous coming from you.

Usually when somebody comes out, the first thing you need to do, before speculating, is to check/ask their pronouns. On Sara's instagram she clearly indicated "she/they", so both work.

ps: I'm also nb and accept all pronouns. You make your own rules when you're nb/genderfluid.

It’s means more than just that :) it can be used for fear of anything different than you.  Which you can learn from further research on the term!

I explained in detail so I get exactly where I was coming from

I think there's 2 problematic extremes on both ends that end up being divisive. But GGD as a general rule has very very few full out conservatives so the problematic right wingers I don't think really need to be mentioned all that much in a site like this cuz there's almost none

But the extreme SJWs I was talking about, I'm not saying it's the majority of the people on the website either but it's enough of them that u kinda feel the annoying culture. At least I think it's very noticeable

I just very very honestly believe if people would let little things go sometimes in discussions rather than going off and accusing people of ignorance or creating an entire situation, progressives might have a little more success with having conversations with people who need to be more educated on the issues that still go on an get ignored

But when ppl keep taking it to a threshold where they are always upset and preaching, it might make one feel morally superior and woke but is it accomplishing anything with the people that need to take it in the most? I'd say in the vast majority of cases probably not, it just pushes them away

We're all human and we react to things a certain way when it's presented a certain way. I think of progressive movement would be MORE successful if it kept that in mind with how we preache our causes. Being extra just makes people not take us seriously. That's literally all it does
