@whoresup Stunning ballad and one of Madonna’s all time best! Fantastic vocals, lyrics and production. So glad this was a hit for her in the US and she looks stunning in the video. Still think it gets forgotten a lot by the GP and I wish she would perform it more.

@monstertoronto Beautiful, one of Madonna's best ballads and songs ever. The verses are amazing and the chorus is one her best. Flawless classic. it seems quite different than the rest of the album, but its a gorgeous closer. The only reason it isn't an 11 is because Human Nature seems more unique as a song.

@PETTY this song is very dear to me. this is my all-time favorite Madonna song. the chills and nostalgia that i get when this song plays... chile. such a perfect ballad. thank you for this iconic gem madonna, i am forever in your debt

@Blown AwayThis song is another stunner. Vocally it's fantastic and sonically it's something else too. These kind of songs are the reason why 90's R&B music is the best there is.

@memomemome To be honest, when I was only listening to the singles, I really hate this of all of her singles. And can't believe the fact that it's the longest #1 of her career like wow. There are more song deserved, idk.
But today as i discover more, it’s actually great adult contemporary ballad blended with RnB which is big at the time (I really thought this is perfect boyband song.) its like she is more matured from her previous albums.

@MingersPrayer Beautiful, elegant, mature song. Madonna is a grown ass woman, living her truth. "Hide behind your smile, all the world loves a clown" - Katy we see you. Obviously this was HUGE in America and was a 'return to the mainstream as many people saw it. I do like the song of course, but I actually prefer I'll Remember (not on album, but same era-ish).

@Lionel Ronaldo Very nice song and closer for the album. The vocals, rhythm, everything, I love it.

@monstertoronto I really like this song, I feel it should have been the lead off track of the album. it was a departure in sound from her previous stuff, but still sounds like a classic Madonna song especially the bridge (or is it a post-chorus?).

@PETTY one of her most timeless tracks. it's still fresh in 2020, nearly 30 years later.

@Lorde Von Kok Cute track, the production is on point. Not my favorite though, could've been shorter. A skip.

@Blown Away This right here is the best single Madonna has ever recorded. The intro is beautiful, the warmth Madonna's vocals exude here is unmatched, the instrumentation is soothing and the melody is so damn addictive. The harmonies in the chorus are the cherry on the cake.

@MingersPrayer This album showed the true power of reinvention. The video blows my mind. One of my all time favourite Madonna songs. Love her voice on the track. Mature and alluring. "Until I learned to love myself, I was never loving anybody else" - have we heard this somewhere else?

@monstertoronto amazing, classic madonna. the sleek minimalist video doesn't even feel dated, the visuals and attitude and humour still play, especially in our **** world right now. i love the persistent background whining horn which was and still feels unique and distinctive. Her attitude and tone is perfect. The lyrics are so perfect. perfect song.

@Blown Away If I could give a second 11 this would be the pick hands down. The way this instrumental grabs your attention and keeps it is masterful. She worked an R&B/hiphop-ish instrumental and made it her own, yet it sounds pop enough to be her. The lyrics are very powerful and to the point. Miss Madonna, lemme put a mark to this.

@MingersPrayer This song never gets old. The video is an image overhaul no one saw coming. The term iconic is over used but this deserves it. Works live perfectly. This is the ultimate response to Erotica critique. "I'm saying in the song that I'm giving my back to them. I'm not sorry", Madonna explained. She obviously loves this song, she'd done it live so many times. Remixes also now on Spotift FYI - go stream! "express yourself, don't repress yourself"
