Sorry if this is extra. I'm just so excited for tonight! And want to experience it the best way. Just some tips if you're a nerd about streaming quality (like me!) Apparently YouTube TV is the only on-demand service (non-cable) that offers MTV in 1080p resolution - everything else is 720p. I downloaded it onto my TV and tested it, and the image quality is really good. There's a free 2-day trial offered, and you can cancel right after. Just make sure to choose 1080 in streaming quality once you start playing the channel - otherwise it will stay at the default of 480p. It seems to be pretty popular here, this is my first experience with it though. If it weren't so pricey I would consider keeping it - the quality is really good.
