Nosferatu 1,212
NEW RELEASES: KATY, METALLICA, MORE Katy Perry’s Smile (Capitol) and Metallica’s S&M2 (Blackened) will land the top debuts on next week’s HITS Top 50. Internet Money and Lil Wayne enter as well. With none of the new releases competing for #1, it looks like the top spot will once again go to Republic, in another tight race between Taylor Swift and Pop Smoke. New Release projections: Katy Perry (Capitol) 50-60k total activity, 40-45k albums Metallica (Blackened) 50-55k, 45-50k Internet Money (Internet Money/10K Projects) 27-32k, <1k Lil Wayne (Cash Money/Republic) 24-27k, 2-3k X

smitherz 2,355
while none of her new music (besides THE bop of the century NRO) connected with me, it’s so sad to see this album performing so terribly. Katy is an absolute icon and she does deserve better

Daylight Jokers 14,958
That's even lower than what FN got. I predicted at least 150k cuz Katy's an A-lister.
papergangster 2,753
I’m curious as to how much higher her numbers may have been pre pandemic?
Gagaloo911 12,959
Taylor's underwhelming, mediocre album does NOT deserve another week at #1. Hoping someone else takes it! Sad for Katy but I guess this is what should have been expected.
insight 2,435
Her fans grew up, sadly for her
PrinceOfTheStorm 5,904
I feel like people need to realize the days of Katy being a dominate force in music is over. Her imperial grasp on music has faded, and she’s not going to reach her peak ever again. Her music isn’t what people want anymore and her numbers/success show that, despite her from time to time making decent music signing out
