Well it's only based on 5 reviews so it's to be taken w/ a grain of salt. And so far those few critics have been kind by reviewing it purely as a remix album.

Exactly.

Do you really think that's right? No shade to Dua but...

I've been listening to CFN over and over again compared to Smile, I find it more exciting :poot: As far as critics go, I'm just being a happy fan that she got this score lol obviously I don't agree with critics all the time. I definitely think Smile deserves a higher score with the fact there are no fillers though imo but it also isn't exactly anything spectacular (maybe the same could be applied to FN but we're talking about CFN here)

Yes Smile is the same old same old, u can literally hear that it’s actually quite uninspired except for a few songs. I get the message and concept but the actual music , basic af

But CFN is a bunch of messy remixes. I’m telling you, if Katy had released this album she would have gotten DRAGGED

Wow. :selena: The remixes were just all over the place and felt messy. 92 is a immense score.

This was the most cohesive major artist remix album I have ever listened to, you have to be a true DJ mix appreciator to love this project

I was fully prepared to dislike it because of that levitating remix. But i actually like it quite a bit. The levitating remix actually sits in the album pretty nice to me. Also, what i think a lotta people need to realize is this is a pure remix album. It isnt meant to build on the original material or borrow too much from it, but take it in a totally different direction; which it did. It was gonna be polarizing from the off as well. It isnt neccessarily meant for everyday streaming or playlists either given its totally gapless.

Well it looks like there aren't many DJ mix appreciators in Dua's fanbase, pop forums or youtube given the dislikes on some songs and the general perception of the album. :selena:

I guess when you have an excellent management team and a huge budget, you can make albums AND negotiate great reviews :bear:
