I only like how it's continuous, I mean it IS a club mix, but it's not really my cup of tea.

Just gave it an entire listen.

Wow. Let me start off by saying, overall it’s actually pretty good. :omg:

Particularly, I really loved the remixes for Future Nostalgia, Pretty Please, and Love Again. I think those are the only remixes that actually make the original songs more enjoyable. Cool was okay too.

I also loved the two new songs, like I was actually surprised that they sounded so great! They could honestly be singles if that’s what her label wants to push next.

HOWEVER.... a few tracks were a little underwhelming and flat-out annoying. Those samples were f*cking MESSY. :saladga: Major turn-off.

I honestly LOVE how it sounded like an actual radio station mix, but seriously... It’s a f*cking Dua Lipa remix album - not a DJ set! Super annoying and unnecessary sample inclusions.

I truly wish the entire album was crafted better and was a little more cohesive in terms of sound, but for what it is I like it. But obviously I’m definitely gonna gravitate to only a certain selection of songs rather than the entire thing.

Also, the Physical remix with Gwen was OKAY. I hated how Dua’s vocals were sped up and that really made the instrumental sound off to me. Like when I first heard the beginning of the song, I expected it to sound more down-tempo? But the whole thing ended up sounding forced. :noparty: Gwen was a nice addition though (she fits WAY better than Madonna and Missy...... :awkney:).

ngl, overall it's pretty badly mixed :toofunny: some songs sound very 2000's remixes

though I liked the Blessed Madonna remix of Love is Religion

it's so bad :rip: the way she overhyped this like an amazing side project but it's just a basic remix album... imagine wasting a Madonna collab on this

B In The Mix stays untouched

I’d rather she took time to create significantly different remixes, Mariah style. She wasted the features with a project that can be politely described as “niche”. I don’t think this album adds credibility to the narrative she’s trying to build as a legitimate pop star. Rather it tarnishes it.
