Of course this video/thread will gain traction, so many people are delighted and too prompt to associate that group of people with the whole BLM movement.  What OP and others users are doing daily on this forum is political gaslighting. They shed light to the worst of progressives movements/politics only to discredit it, when they really are just racists trying to stay relevant.

this is a great example of white people not listening to black/poc individuals. we are the allies, we are suppose to listen and join in solidarity with them, NOT this. white allies talk about this movement “not being about them”....yet are literally making it about themselves and not the innocent black victims getting killed by police. this is not it.

we don’t know the context of this footage but regardless, this will make anti-BLM people think the black/poc community are to blame, and won’t blame these white protestors at all. 

i understand these protestors’ hearts are in the right place but their actions aren’t right. this will get people listening but certainly not following the movement. they need to try better and less forced strategies.
