The cops pointing their guns at him was what NOT to do! If you watched the video you'd see that there's three cops there and it would have been easier for them to pin him on the floor (without putting their knee on his neck preferable) and cuff him. They also have his license number so assuming he drove away they could easily find him. The man who was shot was also just breaking up a fight between two women but of course when the police are called to a disturbance the black man is the aggressor by default similar to your conclusion of blaming the victim.

Are the police supposed to just wait to be shot at before firing? He wouldn’t stop when they told him to. It’s not because he’s black. It’s because he refused to follow a simple order which got him shot

You know... in most countries it's not an issue, somehow the black person always gets shot, and then people like you say well he was not obeying the rule, he didn't put his hands up and well... he had his back on them while going in his car and yeah also he was walking behind them, yeah it's a threat definitely, 7 bullets in the back justifies it, right? Somehow u never hear about that in Norway but in the US it's totally normal? That's how cops should behave? Most cops are corrupted and racists worldwide but god damn, leave your guns out of it. There's one tiny 'issue' with someone and the first instinct is to shoot? That's not normal. Shooting should be for escaped convicts, thieves running away with a gun in their back pocket, it should be for bank robberies in extreme cases where they are a danger, it should be for terrorists. Shooting as the last resort to avoid a danger to others and yourself/colleagues. You don't shoot because a man is walking away from you, Im not an expert in being a cop but Id find it making more sense if they grabbed his arms and handcuffed him until they get an idea of his intentions. But even then, I'm not sure what he did wrong in the first place for them to follow him. From what I read he tried to calm down two women from fighting each other, he's no threat, as a cop u ask the two women what's wrong, you get your answer, u get in ur car. But racism is at play because he's a black man and these two people think oh black man = THREAT MUST SHOOT 7 TIMES. C'mon now have some common decency and ask urself what the hell was going on in their minds it is not normal and will never be normal

So someone holding an innocent hostage shouldn't be shot? Policemen shouldn't shoot a rampaging gunman? Do you think police lives are more disposable than regular citizens? Honestly the illogical hate towards police in an effort to sound woke is embarrassing.

They should wait until a gun is seen before shooting (and once or twice at that). There are many instances of white people doing to the same, and they won't get shot. Why? Because the cops don't view them as bad. A black man is generally always viewed as bad. If he moves his hand, it must be because he is going for a gun. If he resists, it must be because he is going to fight back and kill you. The cops see black and they see a threat. Do you think if a white person  turned their back on the cops and ignore their order they would be shot SEVEN times?

There's a reason why they don't wait for a visual of a firearm before shooting... Because it's almost always too late. Have you never heard of reaching for a weapon as a reason to use deadly force?

Radio traffic reported that the police were called because of Blake trespassing. The responding police knew there was a warrant for his arrest when they arrived.

He didn’t just resist arrest, he reached into his car. I’m not supporting Blake being shot seven times. We don’t know all the facts in this situation.
