Which do you prefer? :messga:

00s Alternative:

Seven Nation Army - The White Stripes

Mr. Brightside- The Killers

Island in the Sun - Weezer

The Middle - Jimmy Eat World

Misery Buisness - Paramore

Clocks - Coldplay

+ (all the other hits)

10s Alternative:

Royals - Lorde

Video Games - Lana Del Rey

Bad Guy - Billie Eilish

We Are Young - Fun.

Somebody That I Used To Know - Gotye

The Less I Know The Better - Tame Impala

+ (all the other hits)

Basically are you more of a rock with us edgy person or a vibe with us edgy person

2000's of course. There were no gimmicks and everyone was like straight out of their parents garage and the music was great too.

Well the lo-fi is basically bedroom music. And I known its a genre that’s been around a long time (Daniel Johnston).. but is having an almost mainstream moment since ClaireBoy Pablo and etc

Somebody That I Used To Know is literally seared into my brain, I love that song it just holds so many fond/nostalgic memories for me, and the song is just a bop in general:nick: it also helped me discover Kimbra who is an AMAZING artist:giveup:

Is this alternative tho? Or Misery Business? Fall Out Boy and Paramore were more pop punk.

Never thought of them like that. It’s probably a big generalization. Fall Out Boy and Paramore were textbook pop punk/emo music. Maybe that was grouped as alternative rock I guess.

Well let me ask you, if you attended high school in the 00s were the people that listened to FOB and Paramore usually the popular people :billie: or would you consider them more alternative/against pop culture at the time. Just a thought.
