They can't beat around the bush since the longer they wait, the more money they need to spend. It was such a fun show, I binged it all in one sitting (which never happens, thx to my ADD ) buuut I do SORT OF see where Netflix is coming from. COVID is making things a nightmare in terms of now trying to film. WHO knows when they'll be able to/the costs of all these things rack up fast. Regardless, this and High Fidelity being canceled after one season just totally sucks and I'm sad. Eido 3,676 Posted August 22, 2020 Author Share Posted August 22, 2020 Update : the two shows were supposed to start shooting soon BUT actually there are two reasons why Netflix canceled them : -The budget to shoot during the pandemic would have been too big and they didn't want to wait until the end of the pandemic (that's dumb) -Some of the main actors for both series actually signed other contracts and their plannings were becoming too tight.
