That's climate change for ya. As long as we humans don't get our sh*t together, those kinds of storms and natural disasters will keep happening, and they're gonna keep getting bigger and more devastating.

Stay safe everyone.

The last time 2 hurricanes were simultaneously in the Gulf Of Mexico was 1959, so no this doesn't "happen every year."

Yes but hurricanes do happen every year, it’s not “2020 acting up”. Literally in 2017 the US was struck by the most powerful hurricane on record in the Atlantic, Hurricane Irma. I just find those comments tiring and annoying.

Are you okay?! :poot: I think we're all aware hurricanes aren't exclusive to this year. The fact you have to pedantically pull people up on this is quite frankly "tiring and annoying." Just move on.

Monsters who live in the projected path, please stock up on provisions and have an evacuation plan in place just in case.

It appears that both are headed straight to Louisiana and take different parts then. Both may land as Cat 1 Hurricanes on Monday and Wednesday afternoons.

I'm also reading reports that Laura might intensity into a strong Cat 4 and land on Houston or Louisiana. I'll keep this updated.

UPDATE! It appears that both will not strike New Orleans as originally thought. Laura has shifted west, while Marco will make landfall sometime Monday afternoon in Louisiana. Might be around TS/ Cat 1 strength. Laura's landfall can be anywhere from the TX/LA border to Houston.
