Ryan Murphy is my favourite TV filmmaker but ever since he joined Netflix, all of his shows look the same, have the same tone, etc. First The Politician, then Hollywood, and then this and The Prom, they all look like they're part of the same anthology. Here's hoping Ratched will have a different tone. At least when he was with FX, ACS, AHS, Feud were quite different from each other and got nominated for lots of Emmys.
