His supporters appeal to humanity's most base instincts, in that these people feel comfortable openly supporting xenophobia, racism, conspiracy theories, and just otherism in general. Depending on the propaganda you are seeing, it may appear that Democrats are more aggressive than Republicans. I promise you, that isn't the case. In my state capitol, a local KKK leader was arrested and charged with attempted murder for driving into a crowd. A few years ago a neo nazi killed someone two hours from here using this tactic.
