Anderson123 38,444
I'm not sure how I feel about this. Classics like The Exorcist and Poltergeist were good at that time because of how scary it used to be to see something like that in theaters. Now people are so over all of these effects and rely on jump scares and gore to at least call a movie "ok-ish". If they manage to make it work with a good script, acting and actual disturbing scenes then I'm here for it, this is why I liked Hereditary even though a lot of people hated it. Harry 26,836
Absolutely no need for this, but I'm sure it will happen anyway. It will be interesting to see if they manage to give it a fresh take or not.

Doot 2
Dumb. But then again, Exorcist is one of the few franchises that hasn't had a remake so I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

Surely there are worthy original scripts that could benefit from this budget. The Exorcist III is seriously underrated. It's now starting to get appreciated. That jump scare alone is iconic! Have you watched the TV show? Def watch it if you like the original film and Part III.

Ronnie 6,011
This movie is so successful because of how far they pushed the boundaries for it’s time. No one had ever seen anything like it. It was pure shock value. Watching it now, it’s quite comical. They would have to take the reboot so far that it would get an NC-17 rating, which might not be such a bad idea marketing wise. But the original’s magic is forever lost in it’s more innocent and sensitive time.
RAMROD 109,631
That movie is kinda cursed tho. Praying for them casts and the crews Besides, do we need a reboot or remake of this when the first one is still one of the best horror movies ever?? killerstiletto 185
I'll still watch it at some point because I'm a sucker for horror movies, but I'm expecting it to not be as good. Dance!
