But it also has some weirdly low and fizzling points, especially compared to her mother albums (and especially compared to Joanne and ASIB). I also think its genius that the chorus of 911 sounds a little dull and monotonous compared to the rest of the song that is talking about taking anti psychotic medication which is how that medication literally makes you feel. As a whole I can appreciate the album for being a piece of art and very smart with the concept. But to randomly have one of them play on shuffle makes certain individual aspects of the songs stand out and not necessarily in a good way for me. I actually think 911’s chorus fits perfectly and I love the the fact that the energy of the song is consistent. Taking an anti-psychotic “dulls” your psyche out (makes you kinda feel like a robot) which is why I think it makes perfect sense the chorus is not as explosive as some wanted. The only qualm I have about 911 is the bridge and the last chorus which adds nothing to the song. It shoulda just been a 2 something minute song like Sour Candy. That said, you people do realize that she is an OSCAR winning songwriter, right? The fans that push the "Gaga is not good at lyrics" narrative are being willfully dense at this point.
