"Lazy lyrics" on Chromatica

Featured Posts

At the beginning I would like to say that Chromatica is my fav album (as a whole) and has AMAZING lyrics. But I think that some part of a lyrics were written in a lazy way.

#1 Sour Candy
After 2nd chorus BP sing the same lines like at the beginning. They could write something different for them to sing. :poot:
"I'm sour candy, so sweet then I get a little angry, yeah
Sour candy, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
I'm super psycho, make you crazy when I turn the lights low
Sour candy, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah"

#2 Free Woman

She sings "I walk the downtown, hear my sound" twice and it's wierd (WHERE IS Watch, watch me now, electric, devotion :bear:

#3 Sine From Above
She sings "When I was young, I prayed for lightning" twice. Again - she could write some new line :selena:

Spoiler

Why does she sing only 1 verse in "Alice" :bradley:

There are two verses in Alice, actually.

Sick and tired of waking up
Screaming at the top of my lungs
Think I might've just left myself behind
Maestro, play me your symphony
I will listen to anything
Take me on a trip, DJ, free my mind

I agree with the free woman onr. It really annoys me when she repeats that line, especially when we know the original lyrics from the demo. But i dont agree with the Sine one, i feel like it works with the song. Same with SC because it's playful.

Soft, soothing, and succulent

Even though they count it as a second verse, it doesn’t sound like one at all. It’s a bridge for 99,9% of the world.

Stupid Love's chorus is the laziest part of the whole album tho :madge:

In I fly on wings of winter.

While I do think the electric devotion line was better, I understand she changed it to make the verses more symmetric, that's not lazy at all

If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating.

Excuse me, miss Kerrigan, but what chorus are you talking about?
