Pitch Chromatica to a Non-Monster in THREE SONGS!

I was listening to Chromatica in full with my friend in the car the other day, and he happens to be a casual Gaga fan (and straight to mine and everyone else’s knowledge :teehee:).

He was shook with the CII/911 transition, loves Babylon the most (thinks its Gaga’s best song) and really likes Enigma, Replay and Sour Candy. Unfortunately, the tasteless soul dislikes Plastic Doll and threatens to skip it every time it comes one (which I never let happen, obviously).

We’ve been listening to it consistently on and off every time we get in my car together (DUH!), and one day he randomly asks me:

If you had to show this album to a non-Gaga fan and make them appreciate it, WHAT THREE SONGS WOULD YOU CHOOSE? Which really got me thinking. My verdict was:

Rain On Me - obviously. Not my favourite but its the smash on the album.

Enigma - has that old-school Gaga feel but is such an earworm with that KILLER chorus, all my friends I showed it to loved it.

Babylon - again, impossible not to enjoy. A good gospel chorus just SCREAMS “serious, good music” to the GP.

What about you sistren? Do you agree? Would you change my selection? If so, why? :oprah:

One of my bestfriends is non Gaga fan and I got him interested in Chromatica by listening to Alice, Fun Tonight, and Sine From Above.

Everyone saying Alice but it didn’t catch onto me at all at first listen :oprah:

Took me a second time to love it.

This is hard.

I'd say...

CII/911-Rain On Me-Sine From Above

Ms. Sine is my favourite but its such a hit or miss for many listeners that I’d be scared to play it :selena:

Alice, Rain On Me, Replay

Even people I know who hate Gaga, love Alice.
Rain On Me is the ear worm to end all ear worms.
Replay is the best song on the album.

I personally wouldn't go with Babylon, only 'cause my best friend Hated it with a capital NO

If you are aware of the other person’s tastebuds then you can play more deep cuts.

True. Sine would be like MJH on ARTPOP or GH on BTW where you really can’t know what to expect with people’s reactions :oprah:
