RAMROD 109,386
And they will show new movies too, Spongebob Movie, as well as Unhinged. Ontario will be the only city that will release Spongebob Movie while the rest of the world will have it on PVOD before going to streaming on early 2021. Report below: Cineplex has announced plans to open 25 cinemas across the province on Friday after Ontario's chief medical officer of health gave movie theatres the green light to expand capacity. Canada's largest movie theatre chain made the announcement after senior government officials confirmed to CTV News that cinemas will now be permitted to host up to 50 people per screening with multiple screenings permitted in the same building at one time. Paramount is giving a big screen release to The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run in Canada at 301 theaters. The animated movie from Tim Hill was originally intended to be released theatrically in the U.S., that is until ViacomCBS opted for a PVOD release early next year. Paramount is taking The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run off the theatrical calendar and sending it straight into homes for an early 2021 release. We heard sources talking about this earlier today. Sponge on the Run will go on PVOD before it hits CBS All Access. https://beta.cp24.com/news/2020/7/30/1_5045327.html https://deadline.com/2020/08/spongebob-movie-unhinged-domestic-weekend-box-office-coronavirus-canada-1203011920/ https://deadline.com/2020/06/spongebob-movie-sponge-pvod-release-instead-of-theatrical-1202966487/ Will you go, any Ontarians in this cult site? old sanuk 366
Yes, I’ll go to the movies in Toronto, but not for a cartoon movie; I prefer live actor drama movies. I enjoy the big screen, big sound theatrical experience. I had COVID-19, three weeks of hell, and I have fully recovered some months now, so I’m just not worried about it, anymore. I’ve never been very good at living in fear.

Theatres in Montreal are opened since at least a month now. We also have Spongebob presented in every movie theater. Dat - doo - deet - doe. Dat - doo - deet - doe, dat - doo - deet - doe. Curunir 7,510
Actually with limited capacity and wearing masks, the risk is substantially reduced so I don't see anything wrong with it as long as those rules are in place and strictly enforced. That's what's already happening in Europe and it seems to be ok (for now). There have been breakouts recently but cinemas don't seem to be a hotspot.
