If Gaga and Tony were to release a C3C any week now, where do you think it would debut on the BB200?

C2C debuted at no.1 with 130k copies sold first week.

Would C3C sell more or less? Discuss

THIS IS NOT A THREAD TO BASH C2C KEEP THAT SOMEWHERE ELSE

#1 is the only answer.

Gaga was shocked and surprised when C2C went #1, so lets make that happen again :tony:

Let my most favorite song of the day predict it:

My biggest enemy is me, pop a 9-1-1

Ok so it looks like it'll make a little rocky top 10 start, but then it'll gradually get to the highest point for 2 weeks straight! :enigma:

by the end of the year would be a great time to release it

Now if we're talking about the Jazz Chart it would obviously debut at #1 anytime of the year since there's barely competition on there

I mean, it also depends a lot on how many big debuts there are that week so this could be a serious hit or miss depending on competition :emma:

for a typical week I'd say maybe #3 or #4.

i don't think another jazz album again would have the same wow factor and attention grab C2C had the first time like "WOW the weird pop girl doing jazz with old Tony Bennett" from the GP and her fans wouldn't stream it as much as a pop album either so unless it was a slow week, I don't see a #1 debut

but definitely still top 5 and possibly even top 3. I think it would still debut well just probably not #1

#1. After TBLG1*, ASIB, Joanne, and the Super Bowl, everyone in America knows how good of a singer she is. The GP would buy tf out of it.

Also C3C is stupid, C2C means Cheek to Cheek. It would be their second album.

Thanks for pointing this out

Everytime I see C3C it triggers me on how innacurate that is :triggered:

I don’t think a #1 would be assured given the state of the world and how close it would be to Chromatica’s release, but it would certainly have a shot.

With the right promo it wouldn’t be hard.

#1. Every album that she released during the 2010s went #1 and as seen by Chromatica she is still going strong in the new decade. She has a fanbase that is big and stable enough.

The only argument people make by calling it that is because they released Lady Is a Tramp and that was their first collaboration. If every song Gaga put out was labelled on a number Chromatica would be like LG13 when you factor in songs like TIHTY, The Cure, and a few others.

If it's original jazz music instead of covers, I think it has the potential to do extremely well.
