Greece, like any other country, can't help all of them.

So they're just gonna throw these people on open sea? What the **** is wrong with you? This is an INTERNATIONAL CRIME. INHUMANE, DISGUSTING.

Really not the right mindset. Imagine being these people. This is a global epidemic that the world is just ignoring and allowing innocent individuals to die purely because of this "its not my problem" mindset.

We need more countries in Europe to help, not only Greece, Germany, Sweden, Holland, Belgium and some others

You are right, but why only Europe should help? What about North America, South America, Asia or even Australia? :trollga:

First of all, I didn't say it is okay. There are only few countries that can help migrants, especially today, and I doubt Greece is one of them. If they take those people, it may be difficult to send them back to their countries, that is why European countries try to avoid illegal migrants.

So if you can't help them, you do more harm to them?

I'm so f*cking tired of this ridiculous idea of imaginary borders dictating who can or cannot live inside their land.

It’s about distance, it’s easier if Europe takes care of these immigrants and that Asia takes care of others more nearby

Yes of course i understand you but like we need some sort of system to help them because we can’t just keep pushing in more and more because countries systems cannot handle all that, so we need some other stuff to solve, sadly not all immigrants can be helped

Ok but this is basically murder, what if nobody saved them? They would of died. I cannot believe this happened in a civilized country like Greece. Wow. Insane.

I'm sorry to hear that but you should understand that cosmopolitanism is a pretty impossible thing.

Literally this. Everything is imaginary really. The whole way we are living, borders, money, etc, everything is a play pretend game no different then a child playing house.

So what's the contribution of EU to, help? Greece is a bankrupt country literally ready to fight if Turkey attacks like they seem to. What do you do about immigrants?

It’s inexcusable.

Context though? The EU has been observing the refugee crisis in Greece for years. & it’s largely the Greek islands that are filling up with refugees. These Greek islands are tiny, an average land mass of 70km most of the time, more than half of that land uninhabitable. The other half is home to working families who have limited food & medical supplies. They have nowhere to house them. These islands have become almost third world, abandoned by native Greeks - islands where violence, robbery etc. are reality. These islands were once flourishing homes of hard working generational families. The EU has done nothing to aid Greece. Greece averages what.. 35,000 refugees some weeks? Wealthier countries in the EU watch silently & do nothing. It’s absolute bullsh*t from every angle. Greece has actually been very welcoming to refugees over the years. EU hasn’t even thanked them.

It’s a humanitarian crisis that Greece can not solve (& shouldn’t be Greece’s to solve). The Middle East tears itself apart / that conflict is fueled by other countries too. It’s not the refugees fault & it’s not Greece’s fault. Europe should be ashamed of itself for ignoring the issue. Wealthy countries need to step in & assist here. The Greek islands are not the answer to the refugee problem.

Sure but I'm also sure it isn't a big deal to at least let them live on the street/forest/whatever land. Throwing them to the sea while hiding your tracks is literal attempted mass murder met with impunity by the society and government.
