But then again I remember you only have two parties and therefore a very limited choice I would say most human beings are like that, not just Americans. Specially when the audience of the debates is an entire country.

The audience doesnt really care about facts as they claim they do. If you go into a debate relying on facts, you will easily lose. Yep! Trump 'won' the debates because his razzle dazzle 'fake news' platform caught media attention and Hillary's didn't. She couldn't shake the comments, stunts and remarks that Trump aired during debates and they were yet another factor weighing down on her campaign

She actually wanted to go against Trump because she thought it would be an easy win. A good politicians understands how to change with time and knows how to read the room. It seems like Trump is now put in that position today as hes relying on his old tricks when the country has severely changed during the pandemic and economic crisis. If he does not change his ways, he wont have a chance to win. These jokes and memes wont work during times of crisis even with his voters.

I was in America during the debates and a movie theater was playing the debates live. It was the most insane experience ever! Hilary and Trump supporters in the theater laughing, screaming, and booing. The problem for Trump is that in his first term he has basically negated all of the reasons he was elected in the first place. 1. He said he was going to drain the swamp. He's now the swamp and entrenched in it. So he can't play the outsider role again. 2. He signed the new nafta bill (USMCA). He ran to the left of Hillary on trade which helped him win the electoral college. 3. Corruption. Hillary was so disliked and that dislike was so ingrained in people that he was very easily able to brand her as a corrupt politician. People don't have the same visceral dislike for Biden. Not to mention all of the scandals in the administration make it hard for him to successfully paint Biden as the corrupt one and this also ties back to #1. It's part of the reason why he's running on, "Biden is the radical left," because he doesn't really have anything else. The only good thing that he's done recently actually has to do with H1Bs. Nobody of course talked about it on here but by making it more difficult for corporations to bring in cheap foreign labor, it increases the possibility of companies deciding to hire Americans for vacant positions. This is likely to be more tech/healthcare/infrastructure sectors so won't exactly help working class people but will surely help educated Americans be more competitive in the market. That's not enough to win a general election though. Not to mention he keeps blabbing about reducing the capital gains tax and the last thing working people want to hear about is another tax break for wealthy suburban white people. The problem is that he may only need to win over suburban white people in order to win the election provided he secures his base 100%.

Only thing we can learn is that nothing should be taken for granted– one thing we can easily criticise Hilldog and the Dems for is that they thought they had it in the bag and didn't take the Republicans and Trump seriously until it was too late. Agree. If you look at the number of campaign stops in the midwest which cost her the election, Trump visited those states twice as much as the Hillary campaign. I still think she would have won if she wouldn't have been so ambitious to think she was going to win Georgia and Arizona and just focused on what she needed to get to 270. Yes his voters are Republican but during a time of crisis, people tend to accept socialist ideas even if they dont admit its socialist. I think all Americans including Republicans will love a 1 year UBI and canceling peoples debt. Imagine if Trump offers that white Biden refuse to promise that? Its even normalized now in Republican circles to kinda support BLM even though they criticize some forms of it and support the police. Trump could easily give a unifying speech about BLM and Police reform while still supporting the police openly. Then make fun of Biden saying we should shoot black people on the foot and hiring a corrupted black cop as VP during this time. The other way he could go is full on fascist white nationalist which I think thats what hes going for..

I dont know, im not America but it was so obvious to me at that time. She was extremely hated even by Democrats themselves as they called her the better of two evils! I'm definitely not counting my chickens before they're hatched. Trump will find a loop hole or he's holding an Ace card in his sleeve to throw out at the last minute. I mean, he's already starting to sabotage the election with delaying mail-in ballots. I'm sure this is just the start of his many plans to rig the election. Why are ppl so dump? How can you vote for Trump after all of this mess 3.5yrs ? I feel so sad and bad at this moment seriously. We voted (not me ) for Trump 4 yrs ago and look what he gets us? Those white racists in the suburbs aren’t going to be for Biden, with or without Kamala. They are all in on Trump. Biden has the young people and the majority of Latinos.
