I want Trump gone just like the rest of us here. However, in future elections we need to be more educated and mindful of who we are putting in office. I think after the primary, we all should've known there would be no progressive choices on the ballot. At best, we'll have to force them to inch to the left and ensure we continue to elect progressive grassroots members of the House and Senate to place progressive legislation on Biden's desk. Like, the biggest criticism I see here of Kamala is NOT her actual record, it's that she's unlikeable. The sexism is so boring. And when people do criticize her record, 99% of the time it's the same few things she did as CA AG that she already apologized for/said she would do differently now. Governance is about hard choices. It's so weird that they keep mentioning that. She got her District Attorney gig by demonizing immigrants and invoking imagery of Latino gangs and claiming that her opponent wasn't locking enough of them up, and then she wielded the power that she gained from that to support an immigration scheme that deported countless immigrant children. I don't understand why it's so difficult for them to understand that we've taken the time to look up these politician's records and we're not going to be excited about a Vice President that acted as an arm of law enforcement and protected dirty cops her entire career, especially in the middle of a movement to defund police and/or hold them accountable for brutalizing the same communities that Harris harmed.
