So Trump corruption is not okay, but Democrats corruption is okay because its understandable?

Everyone you accused Trump is done by the Democratic party, but in a more passive aggressive manipulative way which I think you prefer because it feels and looks better.

Whatever Trump is allowed to do is done because the system allows him to do so and gives him that incentive.

If Kamala had:

Hired her daughter
Sent her personal lawyer to Nevada to dig up dirt on her political opponent
Fired every Inspector General responsible for keeping her accountable
Spent millions of dollars of government money at her resorts
Was on Twitter all day shouting childish remarks at anyone who hurt her thin skin

The idea you would compare being complicit in a system to full on exploiting a position in total violation of oath of office.

If you can't see the difference, then I guess, have a good night. :vegas:

I would have preferred Warren or even Sanders and I do not like Sanders. It's weird when we have a party that is so inclusive that there has to be a choice made between black conservatives and progressives.

But let's face it Black conservatives won him the primaries so all in all its a good choice.

I do think Biden really needs to give Bernie an amazing cabinet position. If he wants one. Same for Warren. I would really love to see Bernie be head of HUD. And I would like to see Warren be Secretary of Education. I just don't think they would give up their Senate seats which is a shame. Or I would like Biden to give Bernie and Warren's nominations for those two roles the job.

It's funny until we had Trump we didn't know how important those two roles really are.

I know you and I don't see eye to eye on a lot of things but I am very supportive of what you're saying re: Bernie and Warren. The reality is that the democratic party is made up of older conservatives and younger progressives of all races. The democrats would do a lot to 'party unity' to acknowledge that and do something to appease a plurality of the party even if they aren't the majority based off of primary votes.

Like Bernie did when he propped up the military?

You’ve agreed he is a war criminal, but now you are singing his praises?

Did he perhaps evolve and change over the years to stand for better stances in your eyes? Most politicians do the same, you know.

I never agreed that hes a war criminal, but I hated him after he voted for the stimulus bill. You were right that hes just a politician I guess? But yeah in my opinion he went against the system his whole life but gave up at the end because he wants to be remembered and his legacy to continue. He said he did not want to end up like Ralph Nader.

At least with regard to war criminals, the reality is that everyone republican and democrat with very few exceptions are pure on this issue. Bernie has made some bad votes in the past and never has he really been pushed on those bad votes. He does have a newer and more consistent record on this issue but still has room for improvement.

It's hard to say that it was an evolution or bad judgement on a case by case basis unless it is well-documented. His opposition to Iraq is well documented but his vote on Kosovo at least from what I have been able to find is much less documented. Both are cases where the intelligence agency provided information before they were put to a vote. One time Bernie voted in a bad way and another way he voted the right way.

That said, as an example, Bernie is one of the only democrats now and in the past that has advocated for the Palestinians as well as the Israelis. And since he is a jewish person who is advocating for Palestinian dignity in an open way, I think at least in that case he certainly has shown evolution and growth beyond that of the standard democrat.

These Bernie supporters need to move on with their lives just like Tio Bernard did back in April.
If only they use the same amount of energy to trash Biden/Harris and instead use it towards Trump/Pence...

He actually voted to fund the military all along his early and the majority of his career. Others that have done that were labeled as war criminals by you. If they were, he was.

So, he sold out in the end?

She claims she did not know, but we dont know if thats true. What was done is done under her name and lawyers as its her job. Me paying taxes is not a choice I can make, its forced by law and gun point on me.

The attorney general’s office doesn’t directly prosecute the vast majority of drug cases in the state. That’s up to the individual district attorneys in each county, and it’s incorrect to say Harris put those people in jail.

Harris does have a mixed record on marijuana. She supported legal medical marijuana from her very first political campaign, but opposed efforts to legalize recreational marijuana in California in 2010 and took no position on the legalization ballot measure that eventually passed in 2016.

This year, Harris has come out in support of decriminalizing marijuana on the federal level, proposing a sweeping plan last week to bring the cannabis industry out of the legal shadows.

Like the majority of politicians, she has an evolving stance on marijuana legalization.

I would say yes Bernie did sell out at the end.

I excused Bernie's actions before because he spoke out against his votes, and went out of his way to challenged the military industrial complex even if it meant he would lose, and he made promises to end it. If Kamala did the same thing I would give her a chance.

My intution (I grew up in NC) is that Biden continues to struggle with Latinos for obvious reasons. And w/o Obama 08 level turnout by AA voters or better, he's not going to win NC.

Nope, I can't fathom it either. Wonder what the state-by-state breakdown of this is

I like her

Yesterday I liked but after her appearance today with Biden I think I love her. She's gonna be a PitBull, gnawing on Pence's danglers, she's gonna eviscerate Pence in the debate.
