Ugh, gross.

I have a cousin who did missionary work when she was younger, and I remember once they went to a country they weren't even allowed to tell anyone about because it was too dangerous. Like she couldn't even tell her parents where she was going, because it was illegal to try and convert people to Christianity there. I always thought that was so awful and reckless because no question our own government (Canada) would have done everything to protect them and bring them home if they were caught, but the people they converted in the country would have likely been killed or jailed and had no one to help them. Like wtf, way to endanger people just to push your own ideology on them :awkney:

Thankfully she's stopped doing it, it was always so awkward when she asked for money and everyone else in the family had to be like, um no thanks lol

Growing up I thought missionaries were building homes and bringing water to people..... not trying to invade a remote area to spread their religious bs and infect the people with diseases/ bacteria. Wishing nothing but the worst for these missionary-invaders who decide to do this during a pandemic instead of actually helping humanity :classy:

Missionaries are such despicable humans. Hope this doesn't end well for them

Do you ever have anything good or not brainless to say? Or is that your one personality trait?

For someone who makes judgements about what and who is "brainless" or not, you certainly show that you dont know the history of the last 2000 years on this planet. U didnt understand that my comment was a joke? :huntyga:

That's what they do. They invade remote areas by building homes and bringing water to people. At least in those cases, the community gets something out of this.

I loved the part of the Bible where Jesus said “go invade other people’s land, risking their lives in the process, so they can worship my daddy”

I'm not an expert, but that sounds like something you may find in the Bible. :icega:

These fanatics always amaze me, the audacity to think they have the right to disturb these people's way of life, because  Christianity has it all figured out right :billie:

The way they think they’re heroes for showing the Bible to the Amdu people... I have to laugh. And scream.

The fact that this is legal is insane to me. The tribe should be protected. If they want to come in contact with other people or learn on their own that’s fine, but for these missionaries to approach them like this is disgusting

Witnessing blinded people with god/saviours complex taking so much pride in destroying entire communities forever, makes sooo so mad and helpless. Thx for the update tho.
