Most people do the same thing. Real Rap music was by Tupac, Eminem etc. The rest is pretty much same. I don't hate rap don't get me wrong. It's just so annoying to see many great songs being ignored because of raps songs where drugs money and sex are the only thing discussed.

Well they don’t. If you listen to the ones that are most popular on streaming than generally yes, but “real rap” is a pretty obnoxious take. Just cos you don’t like it doesn’t mean it isn’t “real”.

Saying “all” or “most” of rap is like that is wrong. If you don’t like it then support other rappers that don’t get much attention and stop defining a whole genre by a small percentage of artists that are the most popular.

Also not sure why it’s considered that a song about drugs, money or sex couldn’t be great. Some of the greatest songs of all time are about those topics. People only seem to have a problem with it when it’s rap, when those topics have been staples of virtually all forms of popular music for decades.

Most of you won’t know this but those girls dancing at the end are reality tv stars from the same show Cardi came from. I’m glad she gave them their moment.

They come from the American reality tv show named “Love & Hip Hop”. Like any other reality show it has it’s fights and drama. But the theme of the show centers around retired hip hop artists and rapper along with young and upcoming artists that want to do pop, hip-hop, trap, rap, etc.

The ladies in the videos are all artists themselves wanting to make it big one day just like Cardi B did.
