I had the pre-sale code so I was going to get myself and three friends tickets, and then Wrigleys website screwed up and gave me four tickets not in the section I selected. They wouldn't refund me or change the seats, so I bought two more in the correct area (GA), sold two of the four to a coworker, and then will be listing the other two on StubHub when it gets closer to the show. I only became a hardcore fan by paparazzi anyway. TFM: still too young and dependant on my parents BTW: Still needed my parents to pay ARTPOP: This would have been my best shot as I had graduated and was working and independent but I was away on vacation when she had her Toronto date so it didn't work. I could have tried looking at dates in another city like Montreal of Buffallo but I didn't like that era enough to go thru that kind of trouble of having to go far and potentially have to book hotels. Like I literally didn't like that album much and frankly the tour looked meh. But I would of still gone to the Toronto date if I could have Joanne: I wanted to go but was broke AF at the time planning and paying for a future wedding and just couldn't afford it Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

gothicdream 39,532 Posted August 4, 2020 Share Posted August 4, 2020 I've been to 3 and had 3 wildly different experiences. Monster Ball 2010 was incredible. Without going into the full story, I ended up with front row center tickets and it was one of the best experiences of my life Then Born This Way Ball twice, first time terrible and second time good. BTWB #1 I paid way more money than I had to get early admission GA tix and was SO excited. I spent weeks crafting a replica of the black and white Telephone video dress with super high shoulder pads and was so ready. As soon as they opened the gate for Early Admission, a bunch of people without EA rushed through at the same time and there were so many people it wasn't possible for me to get right up front. Security did nothing. I was still pretty close to the stage at first, but without a way to hold my spot like a railing, I had people around me literally shoving me back further and further. By the time the concert started I wasn't very close to the stage at all. Semi Precious Weapons opened, and Justin threw a necklace into the crowd, which my BF caught and I was so excited since the night hadn't gone very well so far. But then a girl near us yanked it out of his hand and said "what are you going to do, fight me?" My anxiety was so overwhelming from the experience that I left GA pretty soon after Gaga came on stage and walked myself to the very back of the arena where I sat on the floor and cried and watched her on the jumbotron the rest of the concert. BTWB #2 I got reserved seats instead and had a better experience. But I still experience an intense fear of GA at concerts after the first event and honestly haven't been to many concerts since.
