JohnWayne92 2,162
911 the more I think it should be the next single. It’s heavy, it’s different, those lyrics. I was so against it being a single because it just seemed like as a fan base we latched on to it and over hyped it...but that adrenaline rush from Chromatica II bursting into 911 and the beat. Uhg. Thoughts?
Massive Monster 5,003
Same It's very funky town and that bridge is one of the best hooks on the album The lyrics are very complicated/ dark though, so not very commercial Kind regards
FfFfFfFF 55,757
I absolutely love the song but I don't think it's GP friendly enough. Songs like Free Woman on the other hand are more accesibile for the average listener.
Sepsami 18,843
It would outflop G.U.Y I'm sorry to say but some of you need a reality check, there's nothing radio friendly about that song. The GP Also wouldn't have a clue what she's saying in the verses.
JohnWayne92 2,162
I kinda think we are scared for her to take chances again with singles 🤷🏼♂️

SLAG 7
It’s a cute song but it doesn’t go anywhere. Last song she should consider for a single.
Bubblegum Bitch 18,934
911 is not for GP, I'm sorry.
Doot 2
I'd be down for this. I personally could care less if songs get "single treatments", I just want visuals and a video.
Glamourpuss 29,062
I disagree with you all. I think it's a song the GP will like. It's catchy and a bit unusual which will make them want to listen again because it's one of those earworm songs that get a hold of you and you're not quite sure if you like it or not until you suddenly find yourself bopping to it. I think the same about Replay. If people heard it on the radio they'd want to know what that song is.
Madame Goo Goo 3,861
"GP will hate it" Newsflash, how many songs on the Billboard Hot 100 are classically structured pop songs? Radio friendly ear worms? Not many. Taking risks pays off. Take Folklore for example. Cardigan isn't your average radio hit, and it's set to debut at either #1 or #2. Meanwhile, Katy Perry has made an entire career of creating radio friendly hits and look at where that has gotten her for the Smile era. Last year, songs like Bad Guy and Old Town Road were dominating the charts. In case you haven't noticed, the GP doesn't really love typical pop music. They like something different, and even stuff with a bit of darker edge to it. This isn't 2012 you guys. 911 is a great choice for the next single, especially considering it already had a moment as a meme a few weeks ago. Anderson123 38,297
It's fun and I like it but it bores me after like a minute and a half, it gets very repetitive. I think Enigma or Babylon have better hooks and would stay in people heads.
Lord Temptation 11,209
If Chromatica gets a re-release and more singles they won’t be from the current album - UNLESS - a third single was planned a while ago and they were just waiting for ROM to die (worldwide) before they released it. Currently ROM is still top 5 in UK, top 10 in Aus/Canada and top 15 in the US. If the rumours about a Sine short film containing Alice/Enigma/Sine from Above are true, then one of those three songs must be the third single (even though everyone here thinks Free Woman is more likely). I think Alice is a great 3rd choice, because it sounds so different from both Stupid Love and ROM. Although I think a video 911 would be so cool. Charts and hits are really mostly driven by the teenage/early adult generation (Gen Z right now) so thats really where the appeal needs to be. Unless its just a pop culture hit like Shallow which just hit it huge with all audiences because of the movie (this is the closest recent song to a true "GP" hit I can think of).
