Its possible they preferred one style of vocal over another but you and everyone else should stop spreading this as fact when its false. Have you not listened to her debut album? She sang plenty on that album in a variety of ways, not just baby voice. As time went on she grew up and stuck with a sound that was marketable I guess, but this notion that shes lost her voice due to the label preventing her from sounding as strong as Xtina or whatever is absolutely LUDICROUS.
