nobody says you have to buy them. It's a marketing strategy and everyone is free to buy them. I only bought 1 and the Cardigan LPs cause I wanted to. I am not mad about the 7 other LPs I am not getting. 

Gaga did release what? 4 to 5 LPs for Chromatica? Clear, Milky, Silver, Picture LP, ... green cassette, mint green cassette, pink cassette, and even a 4th colour cassette which I have forgotten about... that makes Gaga as money hungry as Taylor according to your statement

I'm confused as to how some are saying this is purely a way of promotion in the sense of "exposing the album to reach a wide audience". Is anyone outside of her fanbase randomly purchasing special edition vinyls of the song/album?

Honestly I see this as a smart move, but I agree on the fact that this is becoming too much for example:

Debut-1989: Just the regular CD with Deluxe and standard versions and same with vinyls 

reputation: The CD, Picture disc, 2 magazines as deluxe versions with the CD + The tour bundle that included all of this.

Lover: CD, Colored vinyl, 4 deluxe CDs as diaries and a cassette

folklore: 8 CDs, 8 vinyls, 8 cassettes + this cardigan limited edition.

I wish Gaga released as many editions as Taylor is. And I will NEVER get over how we haven’t received the vinyl with the actual Chromatica cover. The version released with that cheap plastic sleeve is so... omg lol.
