But it’s the same length as The Fame Monster

Madonna: 8 songs
Like a virgin: 9 songs
True Blue: 9 songs

OMG like a prayer is her debut album :lmao:

I am not a producer, or musical expert, but here's what Wikipedia says:

Contemporary EPs generally contain a minimum of three tracks and maximum of six tracks. [...] In the United Kingdom, the Official Chart Company defines a boundary between EP and album classification at 25 minutes of maximum length and no more than four tracks (not counting alternative versions of featured songs, if present). [...] However a modern EP is usually defined as generally between four and six tracks, with some sources saying it's a maximum of seven tracks or 28 minutes.

In this case, I think Madonna: The First Album, LAV, True Blue are LPs!

i dont like the sound and i have never ever listened it in full.
But i stan harder her 90's album and like a virgin

Omg you need to listent to the album in full, preferably in a club or house party or when you’re getting ready to go out. It feels like a celebration of the club culture at that time, especially the new romantic subculture. It was all about excess and expressiveness!!! But if you prefer 1989-90s Madonna (and Erotica and Bedtime Stories are also in my top 5) then maybe the sound is too menacing or abrasive. It’s definitely analogue synth, rough and sweaty versus the smoother work she did after Like a Prayer.

If we took a holiday
Took some time to celebrate
Just one day out of life
It would be, it would be so nice

This album is soo nostalgic. I fell in love with Borderline the first time i heard and i still love it. It's so sweet, but a little sad at the same time, and i love this vibe. Love Burning Up too, especially the version that played in the Rebel Heart tour :firega:

Wasn't it just another guitar performance, like she did with Ray of Light? :bear:

I wish I was alive when Madonna first came out. It seems like it was such a fun time.

Yeah, but i like this live version a little more than the original. Idk, it's filled with adrenaline and energy and i love her live renditions of old songs

It may sounds bad today but I think this album is a very nice one as for 1980s.

I'm sure it did, but for me I compare it to the rest of her discography and I think Like A Virgin is really where she found her footing.

Her first album imo is one of my least favorites

I get it. To be honest, I was shocked when I found that album version of Burning Up has this sound. :selena:
