2School4Cool 6,447
I tend to be a fan of more successful artists not because I care about the charts, but just because I’m typically introduced to them by hearing them on the radio. I don’t care about charts much at all to be honest. It makes me incredibly happy to see artists I love succeed, but the charts don’t play a role in my liking of a song or album at all. There are songs, albums, and artists that I love that have charted very poorly, that’s never going to stop me from enjoying the music I enjoy. Guest
Most of the artists I listen to don't even chart.
looking4wonderland 65
Eh this is always a “thing”. People love to jump on a bandwagon. You would think Dua Lipa created dance music by the way everyone kisses her ass, when they’re really just attracted to her mass appeal and success. If her songs weren’t successful nobody would care, because they’re not that interesting. I’m seeing the same with Taylor.
