Taylor is incredible and I admire how she in charge of her career and music now. She and Beyoncé are the most powerful female artists now imo. I hope Gaga one day soon manages to take control over Interscope and create her own label

Yes, single, not album. Album stats is what I was bringing up. And it's well established at this point that Adele isn't releasing this year, it was already basically confirmed.

You can shine at the same time if you're being outshone. Men can have their music exist alongside other men and can co-exist harmoniously without being called flops if they don't do as well as other men. Women don't have that luxury. Gaga was needing a solo studio album comeback, Taylor was not. Taylor had her moment last year, she should have given up her moment to other names the following year as she wouldn't normally be releasing at this time anyway.

Don't say people should ignore another user. Not only is it a nasty thing to say but it denies other people of their free will. They can make up their own mind about me. And I'm only still in this thread because people insist on quoting me saying the last thing that everyone else said. That's why I cut down the replies as it's just Groundhog Day at this point.

I will try to say this respectfully because I have nothing personal against you. I have been on the site for quite a number of years and have seen you multiple times try to explain why you "write a lot" and claim that you're just sharing your opinions. It's fine to share your thoughts, but when people disagree with you (they are basically just sharing their thoughts as well), if you feel people disrespect you then report them and leave it to the mods. However, I've seen you go out of your way to reply to every person that disagrees with you and write an essay on why your opinion is superior (even if that's not your intention, that is is how it comes off). I kindly ask that you reflect and recognize that there must be a reason why many members are put off by your conduct on this site. Thank you.

I do sometimes report. But not everything is serious enough to be a reporting matter. I'm not having people s**t talking me and getting away with it. I reply to people who quote me because I figure that's just good manners and I don't like to ignore people. And stop exaggerating by saying I write "essays." Ten lines is not an essay. I've heard it said by some here that the reason some people get all annoyed with me is because they're jealous that I can express myself as well as I can as I've certainly had just as much good reception as bad. I feel comfortable writing how I do and won't change that. It's not my problem if people get the wrong perception of me when I try everything to give people the best version of myself, thank you.

I don't deny that I'm bitter. I've made no secret of the fact that I hate surprise albums. They're such an attention seeking, underhanded move by artists who want the whole world to drop what they're doing to notice them, even if it means stepping on other artist's scheduled releases and attempted comebacks. It's just unfair that Taylor can do this with an album written in a few months on a whim when other artists who have been working on their album for over a year and are trying to make it work according to advance plans are struggling. I want to see women succeed on the charts but with great music and Folklore is not it. Reputation was her best album in my opinion and that one really struggled with singles and now she's on track to get 3 tracks in the top ten on release week from a snoozefest of an album? Other females with more superior albums can't even get 3 singles out right now. I never said the album wasn't going to be a hit, just that it might be shortlived as it only appeals to fans. And when I referred to people s**t talking me, I meant in general, over my entire decade on GGD. I've had people think it's funny to laugh at my long posts and make lots of untrue assumptions about me even though I don't target or bully people here and have done nothing to deserve this. I just want to express my opinion without being demonised. I thought a Gaga forum of all places would be the one place where I could have a moan about Taylor barging in and ruining Gaga's comeback, but then, we always are a weird fan forum in the sense that we seem to support other artists more than Gaga sometimes.
