I remain skeptical. 

I feel like going through years upon years of them being too afraid to release means they don't trust in the material to do well. 

It's gonna end up being Slenderman 2.0 and be a complete waste of time. 

But I'm open to be surprised.

hmm.. I was super excited but it looks a lil messy/cheap... but it's only 2 minutes so I'm still hyped. It's super LQ so maybe in HD I'll like it more

Agreed. It was having 2 reshoots iirc cos the test audiences response were not very positive

 

Also,

Apparently it was initially planned for trilogy that would introduced Warlock and Karma. But then the merger happened, and nobody but executives know about this merger until it went public.
