Your favorite male vocalists?

Back in the day (late 90s-early 00s) Usher was unbeatable. And also lots of the R&B guy groups like Boyz II Men and Az Yet. Nowadays, none. I’ll listen to 70s-80s rock or 90s-00s R&B when I want good male vocals.

In addition to many of the guys already named, I think Brendon Urie is astonishing, and criminally underrated. Like Gaga, he can adjust his tone, placement, and even vibrato to approximate different styles. And he's also an extremely charismatic performer. If there's any contemporary star with the chops to headline Queen, it should've been Urie, not Adam Lambert.

But I like his voice too :fatcat:

Alexa play, Why Did You Do That? :laughga:

I like his old voice, not the one today filled with all this autotune.

Nils Bech, Matthew Koma and Mike Posner are first I think of. I like when men sing on falsetto or higher note or whatever its called, I don't know any musical terms.

An underrated honorable mention

Iconic. Mariah Carey's ex can sing circles around some of the best male singers.
