Cherry Blues 349 Posted July 22, 2020 Share Posted July 22, 2020 I hope so much that LADY GAGAS next album (after Chromatica NO2) will be soul pop in style of "The Cure", "Heal Me" and "I'll Never Love Again". It's a kind of genre were her voice can shine through mid-tempo smooth pieces and ballads. For me all 3 pieces are high on the pop soul scale. To some degree Sex Dreams, Do What You Want and even G.U.Y could fit in that soul album when turn the sound screws here and there, because all of them have a kind of soul character in them even if we can't hear it immediately in some of these tracks because it is layered in other garments. So for now the examples for the high premium soul pop album are: "The Cure", Heal Me" and "I'll Never Love Again". Lady Gaga just needs more tracks and a full album which focuses completely on her voice. I realized in a recently voice comparision between Beyonce and Lady Gaga that the Youtube voice expert could pick from Beyonces live stuff much more voice-focused performances because her discography is very focused on her voice and ballads. LGs most iconic performances are her electronic pop pieces. I just need that soul pop from her, she sounds so good and sexy there and i need that facette of her in a full album.
