It's a big hit for her but surely not on Poker Face, Bad Romance, Born This Way or Shallow level.

It's comparable to Telephone or Applause.

In the US it is her 5th #1 and therefore her 5th biggest hit in terms of chart success. Tho you can argue Bad Romance was bigger due to its extended stay in the top 10.

It may be easier for those not super chart oriented to post all of her songs that have hit the top ten. This way we have an easier list to pull from.

i don't think hitting #1 means as much in the streaming era as it used to. it looks great, but it's mainly for bragging rights and pretty superficial.

like, were today's chart rules in effect when Gaga first came onto the scene, there's no doubt in my mind that Bad Romance, Telephone, and The Edge of Glory all would've been #1s. I think most of her other songs also would've had higher peaks in the streaming era – Alejandro and Paparazzi, for example, also might've had a real shot at going #1 after the VMAs performance and the Alejandro music video.

i think you gotta take a holistic look at cultural impact, longevity, and *relative* success rather than just the number. Sometimes songs have far less competition and thus it's easier to get a higher peak – Bad Romance spent 7 weeks at #2 against Tik Tok, Rude Boy, and Empire State of Mind, all of which were other MASSIVE hits. Does that make BR any less of a hit? Not at all; for all intents and purposes, Bad Romance was a #1 song. The rules of the chart at the time and those specific circumstances just didn't align that way.

so, regardless of their peak, i think the songs MOST people will remember her for are:

1. Poker Face

2. Bad Romance

3. Shallow

4. Born This Way

5. Just Dance

6. Telephone

7. Paparazzi

8. Alejandro

9. The Edge of Glory

10. Rain On Me

11 - 15: Applause, LoveGame, You and I, Judas, Million Reasons

Million Reasons

Well, 118 million people confirmed heard Million Reasons. :trollga:

And the other 1.7 billion who inadvertently watched her perform it a million times. :ohwell:

But do they remember is the better question?

So I categorize her hits in this order:

A - USBBH100 peak

B - Cultural impact

C - Longevity in USBBH100 top 10

D - Longevity in USBBH100

so my rankings based on my formula for her top 10s are:

1. Poker Face

2. Bad Romance

3. Just Dance

4. Shallow

5. Born This Way

6. Rain On Me

7. Telephone

8. Paparazzi

9. Applause

10. Alejandro

11. The Edge of Glory

12. Million Reasons

13. You and I

14. LoveGame

15. Stupid Love

16. Judas

17. Dope (peaked at #8 in the US)
