i literally just checked like a month ago to see if she spoke about this situation after revisiting her messy audition. I knew something was off / sketchy.

My sister auditioned for American Idol a few years ago with Yoü and I. She said the judges told her she was a fantastic singer but she doesn't "sing with her eyes". She asked for clarification, they said she doesn't "look the part" :awkney:

They don't want a chubby short girl unless she's tone deaf and they can make a fool out of her. My sister is a great vocalist so there was no opportunity for selling sex appeal or selling her as a clown so they turned her down.

And since then I've known that these talent shows and everyone who works on them are all disingenuous trash :gayhat:

You're stinky

Are the judges aware of the set up? Because their reactions was disgusting

Dermot's comments when she was queueing and the judges reactions when she walked out and initial comments made her believe that they all were aware of it

Caroline Flack... you're an angel, you're sadly missed. Thank you for being such a light in this world

About 14 minutes in... so far the only thing that doesn't add up is the whole story about how her family do tribute acts and she was a P!nk tribute act by trade... it seems like the producers saw this and tried to put her in that box

It doesn't help that she had these videos on her channel...:

She can say that her image didn't look like pink, but it 100% did. Everyone knows P!nk for short blonde hair like the way she had it, and her clothes gave off a punk-rock type vibe which P!nk also gives off.

If these videos are how Zoe was presenting herself, it would be very easy for the X Factor to fully manipulate her into doing P!nk... but she also needs to realise that her image and how she was presenting herself on social medias before the audition would have had a huge impact. If she wanted to move away from P!nk, she could have changed up her image... wore a dress, and maybe a brown wig or something. Put up videos of her doing covers (or orginal songs) in a different image to her P!nk tribute videos.

However, what I said above does not take away from what happened to her. Its truly awful what she went through. Its 100% manipulation at its finest... we all knew it goes on, but to this extent? If I knew someone that went through this, I'd tell them to sue X Factor. They ruined this woman's life. Its absolutely disgusting. It makes you wonder if even a tiny bit of it is real or is it made up to suit the purpose of TV.

Keep this thread active and update it when she uploads part 2

I feel sorry that she went through that.

But no reality show/competition show is real anymore. It's all scripted or producer/storyline driven.
