Do you think Gaga’s acting is better in American Horror Story or A Star Is Born? And why?

ASIB was real. It felt more like a play, and cited real life, lots of reactions where genuine. Wasn’t over done, just natural.

ASIB by far, she was just so Talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show stopping, spectacular, never the same, totally unique, completely not ever been done before, unafraid to reference or not reference, put it in a blender, **** on it, vomit on it, eat it, give birth to it :huntyga:.

Unpopular opinion: I don't find her acting to be that good, just average. But I guess I'd say ASIB which felt more natural and less forced.

I'd say ASIB was better.

She wasn't "bad" by any means, but it more seemed like a really long DarkGa era video...so one of the many Gaga personas over the years.

By all means I love ally from ASIB, but for me The countess was such a ROLE! ICONIC

ASIB. But AHS gave us her first good performance.

im sorry to remind everyone of Machete. Aura could’ve been the third part of Paparazzi Telephone trilogy, instead it ended up being the lyric video of that awful movie ☠️

She was really good in both, but I’d say ASIB by a substantial margin. There are a number of reasons for this.

For one thing, she had a complete and nuanced character in Ally, around which to build her performance. The Countess was certainly an interesting and dynamic villain, to be fair.

She took acting lessons with Susan Batson before/during filming and was directed by Bradley Cooper, either of which would be beneficial to any novice actor. Her instincts on AHS were usually spot-on, but the delivery could’ve been improved more often than not.

Television shows generally don’t have much time to shoot, meanwhile she most likely had more time on ASIB to really finely hone each scene.

ASIB had waaay more emotional delivery than the Countess or Forest Witch...

Countess didn't blink or show any emotion really just be creepy

Honestly her acting in ASIB felt very phoney to me  outside of the scenes where she is performing which she really shines in

while the Countess comes off very theatrical & I think that fits the role more, it achieved what was intended better to me
