Well that's true and i don't think immigration has totally stopped either u just have to be in quarantine for 2 weeks

 

What part of the US are u from tho? Unless ur from New York, LA or San Francisco or something u will find the costing of housing here unfathomable

 

Our housing boom started in 2001 and it still hasn't ended

 

 

 

If u go to Toronto or Vancouver prepare to pay $1.5M for a 100 year old falling apart house 

 

And it doesn't seem like its gonna get better anytime soon. The pandemic is barely abating and economy reopening and home prices have already fully recovered and rising to new highs

I’m in Washington, but my city has super affordable housing. Like my rent is $1200 and I’m in one of the most expensive apartment complexes here. I’ve been planning to move probably to Seattle though, which is quickly becoming the next San Francisco, so I’m ready for high housing costs

I’ve looked into immigration a bunch lately and it looks like I check enough boxes to have a couple different paths. Two weeks of quarantine would be more than worth it if it means getting out of this hell hole

Omg $1200 is a small basement in my city

 

Ok accounting for currency difference that's like $1600 cuz the Canadian Dollar has been tragic ever since the oil crash but it still won't get u anything nice here

 

In rural areas or Small towns tho like I was planning to move to tho that's not bad

 

Anyway immigration is a big step. If it's what u want go for it. But it's a big decision so make sure u think it through thoughrally
