RenegAde 19,051 Posted July 18, 2020 Share Posted July 18, 2020 I mean I'm not sure I know any other song that achieved what it did in all ramifications -It topped all the charts in all the entertainment capital territory's -Won all the major awards possible ,Oscars ,grammys ,bafta -Sold over 10million in less than 2 years -its heading to a billion views on YouTube in less than two years - it's internationally recognisable I mean name another song that achieved all this in the same major and time that shallow did. Especially looking at reception and awards (most awarded song ever ). Objectively: I guess Shape of You and others were more successful from a commercial perspective. While I don't think it was the most successful song of the last decade, its definitely up there and it will for sure be remembered as one of the most well remembered classic movie songs of all time.
