ChromaticRaccoon 1,761
I honestly wouldn't be surprised if It did become her biggest hit. It's absolutely huge, and for the GP, that might become what they automatically associate with her. I would've liked to see how BD and PF would have done if they had been released during the streaming era
Blown Away 5,218
It has a high chance to become that. Right now I'd say it's still Poker Face or Bad Romance, but we'll see in a year or 10 They shipped it, but it got shipped back
Sorcerer 12,507
Let's just be happy that Gaga is still getting massive hits with tons lf legacy But yeah, Shallow, Poker Face, and Bad Romance are her holy trinity.
RudraCNG 15,072
No. Bad Romance and Poker Face will. And IMO, even Alejandro, Just Dance, BTW and Telephone will be more remembered than Shallow.
NFRatwell 23,290
Some of y’all still haven’t gotten over how successful Shallow is just because it’s not dance pop doesn’t mean y’all can dismiss its success. She’s up there with BR and PF whether y’all like it not lol.

Babel 41,468
I mean, up until now maybe, but we shouldn’t rule out what would happen in the future. We thought Bad Romance was gonna be her ultimate classic until Shallow entered the picture.

weed 73,854
I’d say it’s BR > PF > Shallow, still iconic but not the first thing that comes to your mind when you think of Gaga
LGMonster95 13,704
I'm a fan since the Bad Romance days but Shallow is really that f*cking song like it or not. Everybody loves to sing it especially at talent shows, everybody loves to listen to it (since it still gets 1m streams) it broke records left and right. It's definitelly going to be a song that everyone will remember and we as Gaga fans should be VERY glad that Gaga got this treasure in her hands no matter if you like Shallow or not. RudraCNG 15,072
Funny how some people can't even read and understand what "IMO" means instead of lmaoing someone bc they don't agree with his pov.
KindnessPunk28 1,506
Shallow is and will go down as one of her signature hits. During Memorial Day Weekend, my friends and I went boating and Shallow came on the radio; everyone of them were singing the lyrics, even that "ah ah a" parts. This might sound dumb, but I guarantee you they wouldn't be able to sing the lyrics to Bad Romance, except the iconic "oh oh oh caught in a Bad Romance" buts. I don't think any of us, myself included at the time, expected this song to smash the way it has. I'm glad it's seated alongside PF and BR, it's a serve. Jake D 576
I think people forget that shallow is attached to a successful beloved film that people will continue to watch for decades. It will definitely be her most remembered hit in the end.
Nikolai Barrow 1,337
It's not like Shallow becoming a signature hit means people won't remember Bad Romance or Pokerface or Born This Way. It's cool seeing her become an artist with many remembered songs over a lasting career. I am sure people won't forget about ROM any time soon either. That's simply because there's no way Just Dance will be remembered half as remembered as Shallow. It didn't have any kind of cultural impact, unlike Shallow Nothing deep, sorry if you took it against you
